China’s government media, like CGTN and Xinhua, are using AI-made videos to speak out against US tariffs. These videos say that the tariffs are hurting American shoppers and causing problems.
One video by CGTN shows a computer-made song with a woman sitting at a kitchen table and scenes from factories. The song says, “Track is AI-generated. The debt crisis? 100 percent human-made.”
Another video by Xinhua shows a robot called “Tariff” that blows itself up after refusing to follow orders for high tariffs. The message connects tariffs to trade fights and trouble.
These videos are part of China’s larger message against US trade rules. They say US tariffs caused China to respond with its own rules on imports and exports.
Former US President Donald Trump has said the tariffs are only causing a short-term problem.
