20 years ago, eDrilling introduced software that is AI-powered to prevent incidents and save time. Now, with the AI Drilling Agent, the company takes a major leap forward. This instrument is meant to help drilling crews, drillers as well as drilling engineers in oil and gas operations.
This system is smart; it learns and improves by itself. It helps determine the safest and most efficient way of reaching target depth (TD). Additionally, it can predict troubles or dangers and optimize drilling settings.
“This is our biggest project ever,” said Toni Fadnes, CEO at eDrilling. “We have always been in front on AI research and development – now we are making it an everyday useful tool for our industry.”
“The changes we see with AI are huge – bigger even than computers or the internet,” added Jie Cao, CTO at eDrilling. “This builds on our work with things like dynamic modeling and digital twins.”
