The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) is working on creating an AI-powered dashboard that can analyze news stories as they happen. This system will help predict news trends and spot misinformation quickly. Based on these predictions, the Ministry will take steps to share correct information with the public.

The AI tool will look for patterns in the news from the past months and forecast future topics and trends. It will also keep an eye on media channels in real-time, sending alerts about important keywords and themes. The system will be able to analyze the mood of news stories and summarize content to help the Ministry respond to misinformation.

Additionally, the AI system will work with social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to track discussions and trends. This will allow the Ministry to engage with people and counter fake news.

The dashboard will be hosted on Meghraj Cloud, a government service used to speed up online services in India. The new system will improve the current Social Media Activities and Integrated Dashboard (SAMVAD).

In addition to the news analysis tool, MIB is also planning an AI-powered platform for translation. This will help translate text and speech in multiple Indian languages, making information accessible to more people. The platform will support major languages like Hindi, Tamil, and Urdu, with plans to add more regional languages in the future.
