Google’s AI Tool ‘Whisk’ Lets You Create Images Using Photos

Google has introduced a new AI tool called Whisk that lets you use photos to create new AI-generated images.

Unlike other tools that need long text descriptions, Whisk allows you to drag and drop pictures as prompts. It combines elements from your photos to generate fresh and creative images. Whisk is now available in the U.S.

With Whisk, you can:

  • Use pictures to define the subject, scene, or style of your new image.
  • Add multiple images as prompts for more customized results.
  • Optionally include text prompts to guide the tool further.

If you don’t have your own pictures, you can click the dice icon to use AI-generated images as prompts. Once your image is created, you can refine it by adding more details or editing the text prompt. You can also favorite or download your finished image.

Whisk uses Google’s Gemini AI and Imagen technology. The Gemini AI analyzes your photos and creates detailed captions, which Imagen then uses to generate images. Instead of copying the original photos, Whisk captures their essence to create unique and creative visuals.

Google believes this tool makes image generation easier and more flexible for users.
