The French brand Sandro, owned by the SMCP group, is using artificial intelligence (AI) to help customers choose their best size. Sandro announced a partnership with Fringuant, a body scanning tool, on LinkedIn. This tool helps users find their clothing size.
With an AI-powered app, online shoppers can enter their height, weight, and a facial photo to determine their size.
On their website, Sandro promises customers they can “discover their ideal size with a simple photo.” Users are encouraged to take a picture and input their height and weight, which takes less than two minutes. The app quickly analyzes the information and provides the “perfect size” for the user.
