The Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TITCK), part of the Ministry of Health, is introducing an electronic inspection system (e-Inspection) supported by artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor medicines, medical devices, special foods, biocidal, and cosmetic products.

In the past, TITCK launched systems like the Electronic Prescription System (REÇETEM), the Drug Tracking System (ITS), and the Product Tracking System (ÜTS) to track medical items. Now, they are working on the new e-Inspection system, which will be the first AI-powered system of its kind.

The new system will speed up inspections, reduce manual work, and complete inspections faster. This will help find and fix problems quickly to keep people safe. The AI will do routine inspection tasks so inspectors can focus on important and complex work.

The e-Inspection will make it easier to spot mistakes and potential risks early on. It will also use data analysis to detect trends, unusual patterns, and possible issues faster. Inspectors will be able to access information and review results from anywhere, and real-time monitoring will be available.

The system will allow continuous checks and quick responses for medical products, and it can work with mobile devices. It will also help save costs by reducing paper use.

The e-Inspection will be linked with other systems like REÇETEM, ITS, ÜTS, and more. The software will have strong security measures to protect data and prevent any loss. Testing for the system will start in the coming months.
