A Danish company, ROPCA, has developed an advanced AI system for diagnosing rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The system includes ARTHUR (RA Ultrasound Robot) and DIANA (Diagnosis Aid Network for RA). Together, they scan 11 joints per hand, analyze the images, and monitor RA activity.
This system meets European standards for RA diagnosis (EULAR-OMERACT) and has been used in six clinics across Europe since receiving its CE Mark in 2022. It helps diagnose and monitor RA quickly and effectively, even in areas with few rheumatologists.
