OpenAI is reportedly preparing to unveil an advanced AI super-agent with intelligence comparable to a PhD-level human. This new AI system is expected to perform complex tasks independently, such as writing code, booking flights, or analyzing data.
Reports suggest the AI, possibly called the “Operator,” could be launched on January 30. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has shared insights about integrating AI into the workforce and its potential to boost economic growth.
While OpenAI employees support progress, some are concerned about challenges rapid AI development may bring. Altman envisions AI agents joining the workforce by 2025, marking the beginning of the “Intelligence Age.”
