Samsung has worked with the Netherlands Basketball Union (NBB) to create a software tool called ShotControl to help 3×3 basketball teams improve their shots for the Olympics in Paris. This AI-powered tool helps the team get better and will be featured in Samsung’s new foldable smartphone ads in a campaign with Cheil Benelux.
ShotControl collects data like court position, elbow bend, shot results, and heart rate. It then analyzes this data to find ways for players to improve. Players can view this information on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold to help with their training. The Dutch players have been using this tool since March to get ready for the Olympics.
Samsung is an Olympic sponsor and has a three-year partnership with the Dutch basketball association.
