An Irish firm, which assists with financial tasks using AI has raised €1.5 million.
Numra, once called Autonifai, offers a faster and more accurate way for finance team to get their job done. The technology aims at making these processes faster and easier by assisting in functions such as data entry, reconciliations and error detection.
The company plans to use the new funds in employing more employees for product and engineering roles, improving its technology along with venturing into the US market.
According to David Kearney who is a Numra’s Co-founder and CEO “Artificial intelligence will definitely revolutionize accountants together with finance departments.” Elaborating his thoughts he says: “Due to its tremendous ability to handle huge amounts of data, our AI makes finance duties efficient and productive.”
Elkstone led the funding round. Elkstone’s Venture partner Niall McEvoy noted that “Numra illustrates how Irish firms are applying AI in solving existing as well as future issues in finance”.
