An Indian startup from IIT Mandi has developed a new AI-enabled yoga mat called ‘YogiFi’. This mat uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision (CV) technologies to improve yoga practice at home.
The mat was shown to several Union Ministers, including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
YogiFi has special sensors that track your yoga postures and provide real-time feedback to help you improve. This smart mat is made by Wellnesys Technologies Private Ltd and supported by the NM-ICPS program of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The mat offers many benefits like easy yoga training, interactive classes, and personalized coaching, anytime and anywhere. It can also work with other smart devices at home to create the perfect environment for yoga.
