YouTube is expanding its AI tool that summarizes comments to include all supported languages. This tool makes it easier to read and understand long comment sections.
The update was shared on YouTube’s test features and experiments page. Previously, this AI tool only worked for English comments, but now it covers all languages supported on YouTube.
The AI tool creates summaries of comments on YouTube videos with long comment sections. This helps users quickly understand the main topics being discussed and can even inspire new content ideas. Creators can also edit or remove these summaries as needed.
For those in the experiment group, the option to sort comments by topic will automatically be available in all languages. However, since it’s still in testing, not all videos will have this feature.
How to Join YouTube’s Experiment:
If you want to try the comment sorting tool, go to the “Try experimental new features” option in the YouTube app settings. Though still in testing, YouTube may expand the feature soon.
In the past year, YouTube has tested other AI features, like AI-generated live chat summaries and Google Lens Search, to make browsing easier.
